THE WAX ACADEMY
Phase 1 – The Basics
If you’re relatively new to the detailing scene, then it may appear to be something from a Harry Potter film – it isn’t magic, trust us!
Waxology are ideally placed to be able to offer both training and, via our sister company, products at excellent prices and our training course covers the basics from assessing your paint right through to polishing and waxing by hand – it’s an excellent and yet informal approach to guide you through the mystery!
Course Completion Time: 3 Hours
Phase 2– just bought a buffer?
The dual action random orbital buffer is fast becoming the detailer’s weapon of choice but we know that many people would jump at the chance to learn from experienced detailers just how to get the most from this piece of equipment.
We’ve been there too!
As a result, we are delighted to be able to offer a training course on how to get the best from your PC and our training course is designed to be an informal but hugely informative introduction to the mystery of the Porter Cable.
The course is designed as a 3-hour session, it is held on site at our Hampshire premises and structured as follows:-
Ø Introduction to the PC
Ø Pad choice
Ø Product selection
Ø Using the PC – hands on demonstration
Ø Product removal
Light refreshments will also be included.
Course Completion Time: 3 Hours
Phase 3 – so you think you’re a pro, huh?
If you’re looking to take the next step to detailing for a living, we are excited to announce that we are now able to offer a complete course on how to detail professionally. This covers all aspects of detailing, from interior work to glass to wheels to paintwork and we hope to include 20 minute slots by affiliated professionals such as banks, insurance companies and accountants. We are also talking to a number of existing professional detailers to include discussion on the ups and downs of life as a detailer.
As you would expect, this is not a 3-hour enthusiast course. It comprises a full day at our Hampshire site and will involve as much time in the classroom as the detailing bay.
Breakfast and lunch are included.
Course Completion Time: 1 to 3 days depending on level of current experience.
